As it
turns out the "A Matter of Life and Death" theme turns out to be
a pretty popular one, and we did a rendition this time, of the actual album
artwork. Treatment done on a Fender Stratocaster. However, the image of the
band's mascot "Eddie" is quite small and subdued on the cover art,
so much had to be illustrated from WW2 photos and other reference to make
him the centerpiece of this guitar. The front is handpainted and freehand
airbrushed, the back a combination of acetate masks and freehand airbrush.
